People don’t realize that aside from famous Hollywood personalities, mugs are also unknowingly treated as celebrities. Do you remember the teacup that was part of a supporting cast in a famous mid-90s cartoon film? It almost made best picture!

Try to go around different houses and I bet all my horses that you will definitely see promotional mugs hanging around somewhere. A lot of them are actually used, but there are some that are treated as accessories and collectibles. There are those that are even enshrined somehow in cupboards and tabletops.

Another evidence: have you been to bars lately? If you do, have you ever noticed the promotional barwares and carafes that these clubs use? If you look closer, most if not all of these items have company logo imprinted on them. I’m talking of big, multinational companies and not those from a backyard firm gearing to somehow increase its sales.

Let’s look at restaurants. The next time that you are waiting for your order, look on the things on your table. I bet that there are promotional coaster and drink holders on them. So, do you get my point now?

These items are revered by businesses because for some unknown reason, they increase their sales if they use them. This is an assumption I must dare to commit, because all companies, big or small, use them to show off their brand.

Next question: have you ever thought of making them as your gifts for different events? That’s a thought for you to ponder on.
